The archive sources include old manuscripts, old periodicals, published and unpublished old government records back issue of reference books, periodicals and theses etc. Beside these, BAD library also preserved old books which are includes in course curricula in the very beginning like as Bengali books, Zoology, Botany etc. These source are important for research library. This unit also preserved (old Newspaper from 1963) more than 15 titles of Local & National according to date & topics> Archives unit are set up in the 1^st and 2^nd floor in a several rooms. These sources are generally used by the users such as specific subject/article, review of literature and future writers, newspaper can not be borrowed. Used may read and request the library personnel for photocopy of their required materials.
